Tightest Schools To Admit

The schools listed below are the top 10 most Tightest colleges in United States. These schools have the lowest acceptance rate that the ratio of number of admitted to applicants. The low acceptance rate means that the chance to admit decreases, but it also depends on yield (i.e. enrollment rate) and other admission requirements such as SAT scores and GPA. In general, high ranked schools have low acceptance rate along with high SAT/ACT scores and high admission yield.
We note that, for computing and ranking most tightest colleges, we only consider four(4) years schools - national universities, liberal arts colleges, and regional universities.
For academic year 2019-2020, Stanford University is placed first in the most tightest colleges and Harvard University and Princeton University followed it. All colleges in the most tightest colleges are private schools.
The average acceptance rate of the most tightest colleges 6.27% where Stanford University has the tightest rate with 4.36%. Columbia University in the City of New York has the highest tuition & fees with $61,788 where the average amount is $55,569 of the schools. California Institute of Technology has the highest submitted SAT scores with 1,555 where the average SAT scores is 1,511 of the schools. The average student population is 14,447 and the average student to faculty ratio is 5.30 to 1 over the most tightest colleges.
